August: Two youths died and one sustained serious injuries in a fatal bike accident today morning at 5:00 a.m. The incident happened as the three were going from Mawiong to Mawlai Mawtawar via Mawlai by pass.
Their bike,with plate number ML05J 8110, went and hit the wall of a bridge on the way. The deceased are identified as Badondor Shabong (21) from Mawlai Nonglum and Darihun L Nongpyiur(26) from Mawlai Mawroh. While the one with injuries is Lebarius Dkhar (19) from Mawkyrwat. Soon after the accident,all the three were taken to the Shillong Civil hospital.
